Tacking Basting
Gutermann Tacking / Basting Thread is an easily breakable weak sewing thread. Use this cotton thread for hand basting, and tailors tacks.
Tacking is used to temporarily hold seams together before stitching securely. It is also used to transfer pattern markings onto cloth. The thread will snap easily so that it is easy to remove.
