Come along to create your own crochet classic... the granny square – the most famous of all crochet motifs and such a great crochet project for beginners and intermediates alike. Granny squares covered in the class are the basic granny square, solid granny square and flower granny square.
This class will teach you how to follow a pattern to make granny squares using the treble stitch, fasten off, start new colours and a few basic joining techniques. Once you’ve mastered these granny squares, you’ll be able to produce them in as many colours and patterns as you like, and to create a beautiful blanket or scarf for yourself or a loved one.
All classes are taught from our bright retail premises at Burwash Manor just outside Cambridge, and tea and biscuits are included!
