CLASS REGISTRATION
In order to register for a class we require full advance payment. This can be done either on our website, in the Burwash shop or by telephone. By booking onto a class you are agreeing to our cancellation policy.
MINIMUM CLASS NUMBER
To enable us to run a class we require a minimum of three students. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not get this number registering. In the event that we have to cancel a class you will receive a full refund of the class fees.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All our classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. We urge you to carefully check your diary prior to booking to ensure that you can attend.
If circumstances change, and you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place, but you will need to let us know the name of the new student in advance.
Or, if you notify us more than 14 days prior to the start of the class we can offer a transfer to another class if places are available, or a credit note to the value of the class which may be spent on anything we sell in the shop.
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by Backstitch a full refund will be given.
LOCATION AND PARKING
Classes are all taught from our workshop space at our shop Backstitch at Burwash Manor. We ask you to park in the Burwash Manor Car park and register at the Backstitch shop 10 minutes before the start of your class. Please feel free to drive to the door of our shop to drop your machine off before parking.
DISCOUNT FOR CLASS ATTENDEES
On the day of your class please make sure you leave time after your morning class, or before your afternoon class to browse our shop. Class attendees get 10% of purchases* in the shop on the day of their class.

CLASS MATERIALS AND PREPARATION
Materials for classes are generally not included in the price. It is your responsibility to prepare your materials so that you are ready to learn when the class starts. You may want to come into the shop in the days before the class and our staff will help you get together everything that you need. Please be aware that you may not wish to purchase class materials until the minimum class number of three students has been reached.
