Sauvie Sundress | Sew House Seven | Sewing Pattern
The Sauvie Sundress sewing pattern from Sew House Seven is a perfect strappy summer dress which works brilliantly and a huge variety of fabrics. There are a selection of options too which gives flexibility to create a casual beach cover-up and an elegent evening gown.
The front and back necklines are V shaped and narrow straps are designed to cover bra straps. There are instructions included to create an optional bra keeper to cleverly hide and secure straps within the garment.
There are three hem finishes, with two hem lengths, two waist options and two pocket options that can be mixed and matched to create all sorts of different dresses.

Recommended Fabric: Works well with light weight wovens like linen and linen blends, cottons, vicoses, silk noil, crepe de chine, wool gabardine. Works with almost any woven dress-weight cloth that isn’t too thick or stiff. Please be aware that the drape of the fabric can affect the fit of the bodice, with more drape creating more ease.
Notions: Coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing, 1 1/2"/40mm wide elastic (Versions 3 & 4). Optional: bra keeper chain and snap: two small snap sets of approx 8mm.
