The Taika Blouse Dress sewing pattern from Named Clothing is midi-length with half sleeves with gathered sleeve openings. The dress is lightly fitted and features a button closure and v-neck. The waist seam is curved and runs below the bust and gathers at the bust and centre back to give shape and volume to the bodice section. The skirt is flattering with vertical seams contouring the body.

Recommended Fabric: Light to mid weight woven shirting. The sample is made in a drapey viscose which works great but you can also use a less drapey cloth like light linen or cotton.
