The Marnie Blouse & Mini Dress sewing pattern from Tilly and the Buttons is a romantic and floaty garment which gives all the frill and flounce you could ask for!  The smock style bodice has princess seams and gathering at the yokes. The round neckline is finished with bias binding and there are options for tucks and ruffles for extra drama.

The sleeves are two piece full length bishop sleeves with an elasticated hem, there is a keyhole back opening which is fastened with a shank button and loop.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - For version with tucks, choose a lightweight woven fabric which presses well, such as cotton lawn, voile, poplin, Swiss dot, seersucker, double gauze, chambray. Version without tucks would also be lovely in broderie anglaise, viscose (rayon) or Tencel (lyocell).

SUPPLIES: Matching thread, 1 x 10mm shanked button, 0.6m of 10mm elastic, and two safety pins.
