Introduction to Fair Isle Knitting

Entry Level: Students must be able to cast on, knit and purl.
Materials: Not included. Please bring or buy on the day: Double knit yarn in 3 or 4 contrasting shades (approx 25g of each). One set of 3.75mm needles.
Tutor: Alice Rose
In this session students will learn how to follow a colourwork chart, creating a small sampler featuring a selection of introductory Fairisle-style patterns. You will also be guided through creating your own colourwork design to personalise your sampler. Perfect for any knitter yet to try Fairisle or an improving beginner wanting to develop their skills.
