Cambric, Lawn & Voile
Lawn is a very fine, smooth and lightweight fabric, usually made from cotton or linen. It is soft, cool and hard-wearing. Cambric is slightly heavier than lawn and has a slight shine on the right side. Voile is a lightweight plain weave fabric. Cambric, lawn and voile are ideal for making children’s clothes, shirts and blouses, summer dresses and nightdresses.
