This superior quality scrim is a finely woven fabric and is made from a blend of linen and cotton fibres which gives it its own unique feel. It is often used for things such as an eco-friendly material for bags, rug making, upholstery and antique restoration trades too. But the fact that it is a linen-mix makes it very absorbent, lint-free, and able to dry out quickly which is why George Formby was such a fan when he was cleanin’ windows!
This fabric is sold by the 1/4 metre (25cm). If you would like one metre you would need to order 4 units. Multiple units of fabric will be sent to you in one continuous piece.
If you order just one 1/4 this will be cut as a long quarter - we do not cut fat quarters of dress fabric. What is a fat quarter? Please see the FAQ page.
