New Classes: Autumn Schedule
We've just got our new class schedule up on the site. All our sewing classes take place in our shop at Burwash Manor just outside Cambridge. Take a look - there are lots of old favourites like 'Start Dressmaking' and 'Smocking' but there are some great new classes like 'Shirt & Blouse Technique', 'Zip Technique', 'Make a... Pair of Pyjama Bottoms' and 'Make a... Vintage Apron'. We've tried to bring the costs of these classes down this season too - so check out our new lower prices! Continue reading → -
A Month In Snapshot: June 2015
Oh boy, we've been rather snowed under at Backstitch this June. You can probably tell as the last blog post was about what we had been doing in May! A Month In Snapshot: May 2015
May has been a break-through month for Backstitch... literally! Our big news is that we are doubling our shop space, and have knocked a big whole through into the next unit. We have the workmen in busy fitting out our new space to bring a bigger and more permanent studio space, and stacks more retail space... watch out over the next month for improvements and many thanks for bearing with us through this time of disruption!
