This week I have been finalising a years' worth of instore events at Backstitch. We had fallen into a routine in the last few years with Sew Saturday in October and Yarn Shop Day in May but last year I really felt that this wasn't working for us anymore. I didn't feel we were gaining any real benefit from being part of a nationwide event, and they were scheduled at a time of year that didn't feel right either. So, we are doing something entirely different this year. I have developed an event schedule, exclusive to Backstitch, which will hopefully celebrate all our customer groups in a way that feels right for us. It's the one time of year when we put stock on clearance and typically lines are reduced 30%. Get the top picks by getting there on the first day.
