This is the fourth year that we have taken part in Sew Saturday at Backstitch.  The annual national celebration of independent sewing shops.  There is a chill in the air and the nights are drawing in, definitely time to cosy up and get started on a new sewing project.  Come on into Backstitch and let us inspire you to get going! Sew Saturday takes place on 6th October.  We will be open for fun and discounts 10am – 5pm. This year we are we are celebrating with 10% off all fabric and patterns bought in the shop on the day.  We'll be running a free prize draw to win a goody bag worth over £100. There are also our tote ‘bags of stitchy goodness’ being given away with purchases over £40. And of course it wouldn’t be Sew Saturday without free cake! Why not come and be inspired by all our new dressmaking fabric and new quilting cotton? Or get ready for Christmas crafting? The free prize draw prizes will contain a selection of sewing patterns, fabric, thread, and haberdashery, and will be available for collection from the Burwash shop. Tickets will be issued from 10am – 16.45pm on Sew Saturday, 6th October 2018. The prizes will be drawn at 16.45 on Sew Saturday by a member of the public, and the lucky winner will be telephoned to be told the happy news!
