The base cloth is a cotton cambric, which is very similar to lawn.  Cambric is classified as slightly heavier than lawn, a closely woven cotton with a very slight sheen on the right side.  These Atelier Brunette cottons are going to fly out for blouses and dresses.  I am still jumping about as to which is my personal favourite, possibly Cosmic Blue, or maybe Remember Me, or... oh I don't know, they are all lovely!
