So I know that 'Summer' is not technically a month, but seeing as summer flew by and it all went a bit quiet on the blog I thought I would recap June, July, August AND September all together!  
  • We've had a rearrange in the shop making a 'wool nook' for all our yarn... we've got lots of new yarn coming over the next month so keep an eye on our newsletter (if you are not on our news list you can sign up from the home page).
  • Christmas is well and truly on the shelves and you can browse our Christmas shop here.  Watch out for the Advent Calendar Panels which are now selling fast.
  • We've now got a growing Interiors Fabric category which is fab for those of you who are after curtain and upholstery fabric.  We're also able to get more colours by request - just pop into the shop and ask to view the swatches.
  • Did you see the Artificial Leather in amongst the interiors fabric?  Great for dressmaking and bag making too.  I've actually made a silver pleather bag which you should hear more about soon!
  • We've continued to expand our range of independent patterns (we've got 465 styles in stock at the moment!) New in is Named Clothing's new collection, a new collection from I AM Patterns, The Azaire from Gather, and Rue from Colette just to name a few.
  • Dressmaking fabrics had a big restock with Coatings, Ponte and Jersey worth mentioning.
  • The new class schedule is up for Autumn/ Winter with some fab new classes including Quilting: Circles and Curves, Start Knitting, and some Christmassy ones like Crochet Snowflakes, Knit Baubles and Sew Felt Decorations.
  • We launched KNIT CLUB to great success!! Come and hang out with like minded yarnys.
  • New quilt fabric collections include Sundrops from Corey Yoder, Thicket from Gingiber, Heartwood from The Henley Studio, and Flight from Janet Clare.
