Recommended Fabric: Lightweight trouser fabrics like cotton twill, canvas, and wool suiting preferably with stretch. They can be made with no-stretch fabric but will be more comfortable with a fabric with some stretch.
Notions: Coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing, zip (9" or longer), one 5/8" button, one hook and bar closure, and 3/4 yard of 1"–1 1/8" elastic.
